Trustworthy cell engineering makes it to the news

Our work (Tellechea-Luzardo et al., 2022) on using tiny snippets of DNA to barcode engineered cell lines had made it to the news. We can now track and trace synthetic biology cells from initial idea to deployment. The lab techniques we use and the software we created enable biotechnologists to better document and share their genetic engineering work.
